"Venture of Faith's winter retreat ended today with seven additional young souls saved this morning for a total of nineteen saved Wednesday through Friday. God moved as not only were these dear souls saved but scores of decisions were made each service on the old fashioned altar. This was one of the best meetings that I had the pleasure of preaching this year. I thank god for the opportunity to be a part of this good effort by Pine Bluff Baptist Church of Albany, GA. I cannot say enough about the wonderful job that pastor Keith Smith and his folks did in putting this camp together."  -CC

Venture of Faith Christian Camp located just outside of Valdosta, GA. Is operated by Pine Bluff Baptist Church in Albany, GA.  Pine Bluff is pastored by Pastor Keith Smith. There are two hundred and sixty young people in attendance at this winter retreat - representing eight to ten churches.  Twelve were saved on Wednesday evening and five on Thursday evening. Additionally the Lord spoke to many young folks hearts this evening as we had a wonderful altar call.  I have never seen a finer group of young people, ages twelve to eighteen. The camp has bible standards, with all the girls looking and dressing like girls and the boys looking like boys and dressing as such.  There are no shorts on anyone and there has been no unchristian disturbances.  This whole group is attentive in chapel and very responsive.  Polite and well mannered which always speaks of good homes and great churches.  What a wonderful time this preacher has had so far. Thank God for this place as I will leave after tomorrow's service refreshed in my spirit and ready for the New Year.  I cannot say enough good about Pastor Smith and what he and his church have accomplished for God in this place.  -CC

Foot of Ten located in Duncansville, PA. Has been pastored by Dave Hustin for five and a half years. Dave has brought stability to this great church of approximately two hundred and fifty members. He has a wonderful staff of godly folks. Pastor and Mrs. Stephen Ashmore, music minister and youth pastor are truly a great addition. Three adults were saved this morning and one lady received the assurance of her salvation. The music was spectacular. I am looking forward to God doing some very special things this week. -CC

Calvary Baptist Church is pastored by Doctor Tom Coleman. Pastor Coleman has done a wonderful job in his leadership of this church and Christian school. They have recently completed a beautiful multipurpose building which houses their new gym, kitchen and fellowship hall. Sunday was a great day as the Lord saved a visiting doctor (dentist) from Dallas, Texas. The doctor was a house guest of one of Calvary's church member. God continues to show Himself mighty.  -CC

First Baptist Church is located on the Mono Indian Reservation and is pastored by Larry Gibson. We celebrated the churches ninety-fifth anniversary on Sunday. The tribal chief was present and testified as to how he was baptized in the "spring box" down in the woods when he was ten years old. Shianna, his eight year old granddaughter was saved Sunday evening.

Monday evening Ruben Winterhawk, age sixteen, was saved. Tuesday, preachers from all over this part of Northern California were present for a fellowship with four of us preaching on prayer. God has certainly been meeting with us as these Indians are somewhat typical of Native Americans all over the country, booze, drugs, immorality and little or no interest in God!

Tuesday evening four young people were saved: one twelve year old girl; one eleven year old girl; one twelve year old boy and one eight year old boy. God was certainly good to us tonight.  -CC

(Posted 11/11/05)

Great meeting at Potomac Highlands Baptist Church, pastored by Lloyd Heatwhole. Pastor Heatwhole has been the pastor for over twenty-four years and has been doing a wonderful job. He is a great man of God with a pastor's heart for God's people. This meeting was a Bible conference with the theme of "Consider Him", Heb 12:3. One seventeen year old young man was saved on Tuesday evening and scores of good decisions during the week. Thank you Pastor Heatwhole. -CC

(Posted 10/29/05)

My three days at Pensacola Christian College were fruitful. I lectured for four hours on evangelism, preached in the college chapel on Tuesday and the seminary chapel on Wednesday. What a wonderful place PCC is. If you have not been there be sure and go and see for yourself this great school with over forty-five hundred students. The campus church, an independent Baptist church, planted in a college community and pastored by Jim Shettler is a vital part of the school and wonderful place for your young people to go, educate themselves and return to you with the same burden for the local church that they left with. Church polity is independent Baptist polity. -CC

Pastor Roberts is a warm, personable, caring pastor who loves the sheep of Grace Baptist Church. He is a former marine himself and possesses keen biblical insight into the problems experienced by both civilian and military people from all walks of life. Anyone with loved one's heading to either Camp Lejeune or the Marine Corps air facility at New River, North Carolina, would be wise to direct them to grace. The church has a serviceman's center where men and women and their families are welcome for a Friday evening supper and special preaching services.  -CC

(Posted 10/18/05)

The Lord saved three more last evening, two Marine's and the wife of one of the Marine's. We all know how very special it is when a husband and wife get saved together and this was no different. They both were overjoyed at the hand of God. Please continue to pray for more souls to be saved. The Lord allowed me to get one great big marine lost -perhaps he will be saved tonight. Warm regards.  -CC

(Posted 10/17/05)

Sunday was very special here at Grace Baptist Church which is just outside the gate of Camp Lejeune, the largest Marine Corps base on the eastern seaboard. Many were saved (exact number I do not know), several rededications and two baptisms. We were overcome with the altar call and short of personal workers. The service ended about two o'clock in the afternoon. I only preached until ten after twelve and then God took over. What a thrill to be part of something like this and not seen very often in these times. Your prayers were so much appreciated. -CC

(Posted 10/07/05)

What a blessing it was to see God's people on the altar tonight thanking our God for his goodness. One dear woman, who apparently the whole church had been praying for, was saved tonight. She was sitting between her mother and her grandmother, both of whom were saved. I leave with the knowledge that I have preached my soul out and in the direction that the Lord wanted me to go in. The pastor was pleased and happy and expressed his desire for a return meeting, so I am pleased and happy.  -CC

(Posted 10/07/05)

Three souls were saved last evening. Of note is that one lady was the daughter of the lady saved on Wednesday evening and sister of the man that brought his mother. Needless to say there was a stir in the church as God has saved three in this family this week. A visiting lady and a ten year old girl were also saved. Most of these folks have been invited by two men from the church. Thank God for committed men who desire to see others saved! I believe I sense a very real touch of revival!!!  -CC

(Posted 10/06/05)

Three visitors saved last evening, one man and the mother and aunt of a member who had invited them. I preached on hell and its recurring misery! Happy in Somerset, PA. And hope you are as well.  -CC

(Posted 10/04/05)

Two ladies saved last evening and great altar calls both Sunday am and pm. Pastor Judy has been here over thirty years and has been faithful when others would have left for larger works. Gentle and wise in his ways he has, with the help of almighty God, carved out a wonderful work on this mountain. Thanks for your prayers.  -CC

(Posted 09/24/05)

Last night was a wonderful closing night at Dry Run as the altar was full and a visiting Roman Catholic lady saved. She had the usual "ten thousand questions" but was evidently searching for the missing ingredients not found in popery, salvation and security through faith alone and not works. Gloria was marvelously saved through the efforts of her neighbor, a dear soul winner who had been inviting her to church. Folks it still works the old fashioned way and every time - invite the lost to church and God will save them. Pastor Leatherman was pleased and his sheep were happy in the Lord, so all in all this meeting was a great success as we had tons of decisions, good testimonies of God's blessings and several saved. Thank you for your prayers for this ministry.  -CC

(Posted 09/20/05)

The Lord met with us again last evening, one dear soul was saved and many good decisions on the altar. The folks left happy and excited about the services. As I shook hands with many, they were tearfully thanking the Lord for his blessings. My, how good it is to be in God's yoke!  -CC

(Posted 09/18/05)

Great start this morning as we had one former marine, now a local policeman, saved. His wife was beside herself, as was I. I love to see anyone saved but especially those jarheads. (I wonder why?) Great altar call that seemingly did not want to end. God's people's heart's were touched by his spirit. Please continue with me in prayer for these meetings.

This years results goes to prove that old fashioned religion still gets the job done. We do not need "a purpose driven way and saddleback Sam, nor Joel Olsteen and the marshmallow way or Billy Graham and the no hell way....we need the Lord and his prayer way!  -CC

(Posted 09/16/05)

Dry Run is pastored by Pastor John Leatherman. I will be preaching here beginning Sunday and going through Friday. Pray with me for dear souls to be saved and decisions. For not only godly living, but for godly service as well. Lethargy grips our land and constricts our churches.  Prayerfully the Lord will break some of this loose this week. Warm regards. -CC

(Posted 09/12/05)

Cornerstone was founded and is now pastored by Dr. Bo Wagner. Pastor Wagner has done a marvelous job of building this church. He took an old fish camp and turned it into a beautiful building, full of people. The church has purchased twelve acres just adjacent to this property and on a hill overlooking the four lane highway that passes just in front. The plans are drawn, the permits have been granted and a builder graciously has agreed to allow the church to use his license so that they may accomplish the work themselves and he will oversee the project.  God has blessed this group of people. We had two great services on Sunday with the altar full Sunday morning. Please pray for Cornerstone Baptist Church.  -CC

(Posted 09/09/05)

We closed the meeting Friday evening with a wonderful service, the altar was full to overflowing and one visitor, a thirty-six year old man, the father of the one of the teenagers that had been coming received the Lord as his Saviour. The folks at Calvary are great West Virginian folks. They filled the back end of my car with all sorts of vegetables, I wept with some of the teenagers as they were so sad to see the meetings come to an end. I feel, however, that under the leadership of Pastor Bowman, the meetings are just beginning. Praise the Lord for blessings, the which will not be fully known until we reach the other side. Warm regards. -CC

(Posted 09/08/05)

Whoever is praying for young people to be saved please do not stop as you have the Lord in your sights. Three more teens were saved tonight. This brings the total to fifteen. The bus brought in some new teens tonight as their friends began to invite others. These three were among the new kids. Blessed be the name of the Lord who giveth the victory. These are kids from "up in the hollow" and "off the street" that without the Lord have no chance whatsoever of making it in life. Your heart is moved with compassion when you see them and talk with them. Warm regards and thank you. -CC

(Posted 09/07/05)

God saved four more young people tonight. I cannot remember when I have seen so many teenagers saved. This is eleven now who have saved since Monday evening. Tremendous outpouring of the Spirit of God tonight as the altar was completely full. One young man, a visitor, saved ten years ago and away from God for most of that time rededicated his life tonight. I, too, am enjoying the ministry of the word. I cannot remember when I have enjoyed myself any more. My how wonderful to serve the Lord. I recommend it for everyone! Twelve souls saved so far and eleven of these have been teenagers. -CC

(Posted 09/07/05)

Well, folks, God showed Himself mighty again last evening. Calvary's bus picks up a good size group of young people, they all sit in one place, up front and on the right side of the auditorium. I had to call one boy down during the invitation, then led three girls to the Lord, the teenage boy that caused the disturbance, raised his hand that he needed to be saved, while I was dealing with him and getting a personal worker to assist one of the girls that had just gotten saved came forward with another girl and said that her friend wanted to be saved also! Total.......five teenagers saved last night and all picked up on the bus. Pastor said that two of them were "tough nuts" and that they had been praying and working with them for some time. Is not our God great?  -CC

(Posted 09/06/05)

Monday night brought folks out, visitors showed up and two dear souls were saved, both teenagers. One precious sixteen year old girl, born with extreme physical difficulties but normal mentally was saved last evening. Thank God that one day she too will have a body like unto his. The other was a fine looking teenage young man dressed in a suit looking as if he were a preacher himself received the Lord. Again the altar was full. How wonderful it is to serve the Lord and "getting in on it" yourself produces a "fullness" not like anything else.  -CC

(Posted 09/05/05)

The evening service was wonderfully attended with a visiting man saved and the altar filled with God's people communing with their God. Pastor was visibly moved and pleased with what the Lord is/was doing amongst his people. Pastor Bowman has begun a great work here in a town with perhaps a population of twenty-five hundred. Calvary, as stated by Pastor Bowman, is "what is happening" in Mannington.   -CC

(Posted 09/04/05)

Great start, few visitors, large crowd, easy to preach to, very receptive, wonderful altar call, no one saved, however. I can hardly wait to preach this evening. God is with us - of this I am certain. We have promised all that do not return for the evening service that we will pray that God blows their TV’s sky-high! Jesting of course, well maybe a little! -CC

(Posted 09/03/05)

Calvary is pastored by Lee Bowman, himself a former evangelist and great preacher. Pray with me that this will be a wonderful week in the lives of these West Virginians, a week of joy, a week of contrition and a week of salvation. May our God be pleased with every word spoken and mankind be uplifted and equipped (biblically) to face tomorrow.  -CC

(Posted 08/29/05)

Blythewood Baptist Church, Blythewood, South Carolina, pastored by Horst Trojahn is a warm and vibrant independent Baptist church but a church that undergone great difficulties in the past few months. Pastor Trojahn has brought them from a very difficult position of error concerning the Word of God to a correct position. He is not a "peaceful coexistence" preacher, no, but he one who stands for what is right and is not afraid to venture where angels fear to tread when principal is at stake. This was my first time at this dear man's church and I look forward to going back as soon as possible. Many of you have come through what Pastor Trojahn has been through and know the heartache of losing good folks who do not want to see the issue of separation when it comes to the Word of God. Dress, music, dancing, cursing, movies are all ok but to take a stand on the Word of God is felt to be unnecessary by many. Let this dear brother know that you will be praying for him as he begins his journey back to the place of joy.

We had three dear souls saved yesterday and many good decisions. How blessed we were to see the dear Lord work. Warm regards to all. -CC

(Posted 08/23/05)

Well, God saved the pastor's tough former marine, Vietnam vet, retired Chicago policeman who has been seeing a "shrink" for various difficulties and now can "just trust the Lord." He really got saved as he hugged me like I was his dad and left the church smiling. Two adult ladies were saved also, one a visitor and the other a lady that had been coming for some time. See what prayer does? Thank you for interceding with me for the lost that we knew would be in this meeting. Warm regards to you all from cool Chicago. -CC

(Posted 08/23/05)

Pastor Zdziarski and I need your prayers for the meeting tonight as there will be unsaved folk here for sure. Pray with us that the power of God will be so evident that the lost will have no choice but to surrender to the High Sheriff of Glory. Great altar calls each evening with decisions made that hopefully will help this dear man of God in the future.  -CC

(Posted 08/21/05)

The Lord saved four dear souls this morning at the Garfield Ridge Baptist Church. Pastor Bob Zdziarski, son in law of evangelist Bill Behrens, is doing a wonderful job here. This is a tough place to minister as the church's reputation has had to be rebuilt due to the immorality of the former pastor. Pray with us for God to overrule the efforts of satan and a good work of God carved out of this wicked place.  - CC

(Posted 08/11/05)

Last night was a wonderful night as a young Coast Guardsman brought another member of his unit, a young twenty-three year old man from Colorado. Kip was saved last night and, as we all know, there are some salvation experiences that seemingly are more memorable than others, this was one of them. Kip was so excited and happy to have his sins washed away that he was absolutely "beside himself." Kip was given a bible and said that he would be back tonight for sure. How very good our God is. Thank you for all your prayers. - CC

(Posted 08/09/05)

Peoples Baptist Church pastored by Wike Wetherington for seven years is a wonderful church. Friendly and warm Christians meeting in a beautiful building with sweet spirits. Great services Sunday morning with folks making good use of the altar and then Sunday evening one young Romanian girl was saved while her brother received the assurance of his salvation. Monday evening an old marine buddy of mine was in attendance from surrey, VA. And he too received Jesus Christ as his Saviour. Pray with me for the services to be blessed with the presence of god and his dear spirit and the devil handcuffed for the remainder of the week.   -CC

(Posted 08/05/05)

The camp meeting this year has so far been filled with great preaching by the following preachers: Dr. Bill Behrens, Dr. Ronnie Simpson, Dr. Jim Pruitt, Evangelist Jack Tripp, Dr. Russell Rice, Dr. David Baughn and others who have been called from the floor. Five preachers have preached each morning and two each evening. The special music this year was provided by the Dave Thompson family from Niceville, Florida and what a wonderful job they have done. The food has been (as usual) delicious, the fellowship great and the watermelons each evening divine. Plan to be here next year!  -CC

(Posted 07/31/05)

Tabernacle Baptist Church, Wilson, NC -  Each year I preach a "one day revival" for this church as I am in Wilson for the camp meeting at Trinity Baptist Church. A ten year old girl was saved this morning and then tonight God just broke everything loose and saved four dear souls. Two teenagers (one involved in satanic worship) and two adults. A man and his girl friend, present this morning came back for the service tonight and god saved them both. Tears flowed and folks rejoiced and hugged one another. If it is possible to have a "one day revival" we had it tonight. Thank the dear Lord for his old fashioned book, the tried and true King James Bible.  -CC

(Posted 07/30/05)

The meetings with Platteville Baptist Church concluded this evening with two more dear souls saved. Both were ladies, one young and one older, the both of which had been invited by members of the church. Pastor Smith and myself were beside ourselves at the goodness of God and obvious grace in saving eleven dear souls this week. Additionally the altar was full tonight with tears of conviction. The church then repaired to the picnic tables filled with ice cold watermelons and homemade taco's and refried beans. It just does not get any better than this, a true Colorado ending with smiling, happy Christian people fellowshipping around the goodness of God.  -CC

(Posted 07/28/05)

Two visitors were in the service last evening, both from Denver and both had visited this church before. Everyone just took it for granted that both were saved since they always visited when they passed through. Not so as God saved one of the men last evening. He was close to seventy years of age and had never been saved. My how good our God is! I do appreciate all the prayers for these meetings as God has clearly been in every service. The altar has been filled each night and conviction so very obvious.  -CC

(Posted 07/25/05)

Two more souls were saved this evening - a World War II Veteran and former marine age eighty-five was saved this evening. His wife sitting beside him said that she was so glad that he had asked the Lord to save him as she had been saved for some time. A seventy-seven year old mom was saved tonight while sitting beside her daughter. Again the altar was full to overflowing. The Lord has shown himself to be mighty this Lord's day. There is little doubt that if we, as God's people, will invite the lost, God will save them in answer to our prayers.  -CC

(Posted 07/24/05)

Pastor Don Smith has been the pastor of Platteville Baptist Church for twenty-three years. He is the chaplain for the local Marine Corps League and invited many of his friends, members of the league, to the beginning services this morning. Present were the members of the church but also many visitors. God saved six men and women this morning, all, either former marines, or their wives. The altar was absolutely full of God's dear people. What a wonderful start to a week of meetings. Pray with us for even more souls to be saved and a real outpouring of God's Spirit.  -CC

(Posted 07/11/05)

The summer revival meetings with Pastor Don Leatherman and the Bear Lithia Baptist Church opened yesterday. One dear lady was saved in the morning service and a tremendous response on the altar both morning and evening. This a wonderful church with wonderful people. Pastor Mark Leatherman, pastor's son, is the youth pastor and assistant. They are in the process of building a new beautiful brick building on thirty-six acres of land with a vista of the valley that is breathtaking. They should be in their new church some time in August. What a joy it is to be here again. I have been preaching in the church now very close to twenty years and God has blessed in every meeting.  -CC

(Posted 07/04/05)

Twenty-two dear souls were saved at Slippery Rock Baptist Church, pastored by David Barnhouse in Slippery Rock, PA. The Lord saved thirteen Sunday; two men were saved Monday evening (one seventy year old man and one sixty-seven year old man); Tuesday the altar was full; Wednesday evening the Lord saved two more (one the daughter of the sixty-seven year old man and the other a forty-one year old man; Thursday, again the altar was full; Friday the Lord saved five visitors - three adults and two young girls. One of the men was a roman catholic who had asked a widow lady out and she said she was going to church, he said "I'll got with you"...wham!!!! How good God is.  -CC

(Posted 07/04/05)

Saturday and Sunday I was at the Cranberry Baptist of Beckley, WVA, pastored by Pastor Roger Pauley. We had a wonderful men's "steak out" Saturday evening; a great, well attended "Fourth of July celebration" Sunday morning and a wonderful spirit filled meeting Sunday evening. No one was saved however there were good numbers of decisions and a full altar Sunday evening. West Virginians are special people, I have never felt so welcome and loved in all my ministry.  -CC

(Updated 06/09/05)

Pastor Westmoreland and myself at the Memorial Day services. Nine saved that day. Several of those saved were service men. Thank the Lord for his goodness.  -CC

(Updated 06/02/05)

The Lord saved another soul last evening, a dear lady with a broken heart received the Lord as her Saviour amidst tears of joy. The altar was greatly used as Pastor Westmoreland's folks, along with visitors, availed themselves of the opportunity to do business with God on an old fashioned altar. The last two nights have been especially blessed of God as there has been an unusual happiness and movement of the Holy Spirit among God's people. Please continue to pray. Warm regards.  -CC

(Posted 05/30/05)

Madison Street Baptist Church is located in Athens, Alabama, and is pastored by Mike Westmoreland.  It was a red, white and blue day. Flags were flying and America bragged on but most of all the dear Lord and his blessings were remembered. The services were truly phenomenal and greatly used of God. Seven dear souls were saved in the morning service and one in the evening service. Pastor Westmoreland spoke with each of these folks for discipleship and follow-up. A good number of veterans were present, including one who served in World War II. One former us army man and one former marine, both members of the honor guard were saved and another former marine who was an invited guest was saved in the morning service. Another former marine officer was saved in the evening service and the altar full both morning and evening. Thank the Lord for his sweet and gentle spirit arresting these souls. The marine saved in the evening service ran out of the church after telling pastor - "I have to go to my wife and tell her"..........she was attending another church in the area. For you that pray for these meetings, I thank you! The meetings will continue through Friday. -CC

(Updated 05/21/05)

Well, the meetings closed out with a great gathering on the altar for dedicatory prayer. Six saved and scores of decisions for godly living. The testimony time was heart warming with Pastor Rogers beside himself with joy as the dear Lord had worked in the lives of so many of His people. The waters of baptism will be moving in the days to come and the church membership will increase. What a wonderful meeting this was. To God be the glory and to you also Pastor Rogers and the membership of Calvary Baptist Church of North Granville, New York.  -CC

(Updated 05/20/05)

Thank you for your faithful prayers. "CJ" the fifteen year old brother of the eighteen girl that was saved earlier in the week was saved tonight. Praise the Lord for His kindness. This brings to six the number saved in this good church this week. We have prayed and asked for God to meet with us each night and He has, and in a very manifest manner. The altar tonight was full. I can hardly wait to see what the Lord is going to do tomorrow night. Pastor is beside himself with joy----(me too)! Warm regards. -CC

(Updated 05/18/05)

How I praise the Lord for his kind and gentle dealings with his people. Once again the altar was full tonight with good decisions for godly living. One of the men (37 year old farmer) that was saved last evening presented himself for baptism tonight and said "this is better than graduating." exactly what he meant I am not certain but he was obviously excited about his new life.  -CC

A deacon approached me after the service and asked if I would speak with his son, ten year old Josh. Josh won the skeet shot for youngsters on Saturday evening. I sat down with Josh and he immediately began to weep - he indicated that he was not sure he was saved and that the Lord had been speaking to him since the meetings had begun. About five minutes later josh accepted the Lord as his Saviour. How very very good our God is! Amen! Please continue to pray with me for the blessing of God on this place.  -CC

(Updated 05/17/05)

Will we ever take for granted the workings of the Spirit of God? - I think not! Tonight God saved three more dear souls here at Calvary Baptist Church. Two grown men and one nine year old boy. One man was an invited guest and fellow worker who was invited by the pastor's son; the other man had been coming and was confused about his salvation and the boy was a master's club boy whose parents are not churched. The teenage girl that was saved last night came back tonight and brought her teenage brother, he admitted to me that he was lost but is searching. I believe he will be saved this week as he promised to come back. Pray with me please.  -CC

(Posted 05/16/05)

I am in revival meetings this week at the Calvary Baptist Church of North Granville, NY. Calvary is pastored by Delbert Rogers. Pastor Rogers has been the pastor for eleven years and has truly done a wonderful job. I first preached here some fifteen years ago and under Pastor Rogers leadership the church has grown and is still taking a wonderful fundamental stand for Christ. The altar, both morning and evening Sunday, was greatly used and tonight was full. One young lady, eighteen years old, was saved tonight and I am singing with her "my sins are blotted out I know." what a wonderful miracle of God - the salvation of the lost. Please pray with us for an old fashioned moving of the Spirit of God.  -CC

(Updated 04/22/05)

The meetings this week in the Middletown Area Bible Church have been very productive and greatly used of God; two have been saved and many have made decisions for godly living.  Visitors have been present just about every night.  The folks of the church are wonderful people and very receptive to the preaching of the Word of God.  Pastor Joe Pagano has been the pastor for twenty-eight years and continues to be used of God in his pastorate. -CC

(Posted 04/19/05)

I am at the Middletown Bible Church, with Pastor Joe Pagano this week.  Pastor Pagano has been the pastor here for twenty-eight years.  Thank the Lord for "sticktoativeness" in the lives of some.  Two precious girls were saved on Sunday morning.  The altar was full both morning and evening.  Good attendance Monday with a couple of visiting pastors present and one who brought a van load of folks.  What a difference this always makes as the Spirit of God is touched and he moves in the hearts of those present.  Sweet service Monday evening.  Chapel Tuesday and Wednesday in the Christian school. -CC

(Updated 04/07/05)

Calvary Baptist Church is located in New Philadelphia, Ohio and pastored by Don Snow. This is a wonderful church full of wonderful people. Pastor Snow has done a marvelous job of teaching them the Bible, instilling in them proper Biblical standards of dress and music and Godly living. The attendance was good, visitors each night, and the altar used greatly each service. God met with us and we all are all better for it. Evangelist Rod Black and his family provided revival music for the meetings and without doubt set the heart up for the preaching of God's dear word. Much was accomplished for the Lord and to Him we give the glory!  -CC

(Updated 03/28/05)

The meetings at Pleasantville Baptist Church in New Castle, Delaware concluded with several saved and scores of good decisions for Godly living.  Pastor Persinger was pleased, the folks seemed to be pleased and "revived." for this, we thank almighty God and give Him the credit and the glory.  The singing was great, the attendance also and each night we were blessed with visitors.  Several indicated a need for salvation but were not desirous at that time.  Great follow-ups for the church.  Pastor has asked for another meeting so we will do this again March 16-21, 2008 and pray that the dear Lord will meet with us again. -CC

(Updated 03/24/05)

A young boy, nine years old, named Joshua was saved Monday evening. Two ladies indicated a desire to accept the Lord but did not pray to receive the Lord. Pastor Persinger will follow up on these. - CC

(Posted 03/22/05)

Pastor Persinger and I were calling this afternoon and visited a former marine who served with the raider battalion (Edson's Raiders) on Guadal Canal and Tulagi. What a wonderful time we enjoyed swapping stories of past battles and victories still remembered.  Don Penn is eighty-four years old and a bonafide hero having slugged it out with some of Japan’s finest. Today, the lord allowed me to lead he and his dear wife Vi to the Lord.  What a great event this was as we all wept with joy as these two old warriors came to know our wonderful Saviour.  Don was a part of the story at this LINK.  -CC

Eighty-four present tonight for the Wild Game Supper at the Maranatha Baptist Church. The minority whip for the House of Delegates in the Maryland house was invited and ask to inform all of the bills before the house that pertained to gun owners. He is a lawyer and friend of gun rights. Tonight he prayed and asked the Lord to save him. What a blessing this is. Pastor Dickerson is going to call on him and follow up.  -CC

First wild game supper ever at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, pastored by Pastor Tom Alvis.  Fifty men came, three were saved.  Sunday morning two ladies were saved.  Sunday night one lady brought her father to the service. Tonight she came back and brought her husband, he was saved.  During the service her best girlfriend came in, she was saved.  A man who was saved two years ago rededicated his life to Christ.  This afternoon one lady that was present last evening called pastor and said that she needed to be saved, she was.  My how good God is. Thank you Lord.  Two more nights!!!! Please pray with us as God is doing something here.  -CC

Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, pastored by Pastor Tom Alvis, located in Powhatan, VA. held it's first wild game supper Saturday evening.  About fifty great hunters from Virginia were in attendance.  Some of the finest deer heads and turkey beard's one has ever seen. Three were saved. The food was out of this world.

Meetings started this morning in the church with two saved with one lady back tonight who brought her father to the service. The other was a young college student home on spring break. God met with and really worked on hearts.  -CC

Follow up on the wild game supper in Oakland, Maryland, Mountain Lake Independent Baptist Church - We made a follow up visit on some of the fellows at the wild game dinner and was able to lead a catholic fellow from Baltimore to the Lord this afternoon. Very humble admission of sinful guilt and a very sincere prayer to call on the Lord for salvation.

His name is 'Augie' Mamolito.

Fifteen dear souls were saved this past Saturday evening at the Wild Game Supper in Oakland, MD.  Pastor Dennis Leatherman and the Mountain Lake Independent Baptist Church hosted the supper and three hundred and twenty-five folks attended.  One whole family was saved, dad, mom and several children.  God has certainly used these suppers for his glory.  We enjoyed fresh mountain lion, bear, all kinds of fish, elk, venison, squirrel and great deserts. The Sunday services, both morning and evening were well attended with the evening service especially used of God as the altar was completely full and a great testimony time afterwards by God's dear people testifying as to what the Lord had spoken to their hearts about and what the Lord delivered them from when saved.  -CC

The Old Fashioned Camp Meeting just completed Friday evening at the Grace Baptist Church of Petersburg, VA. and pastored by Raleigh Nunnally was the best of the camp meetings that I have personally preached at in some time.  The Altar was full, both mornings and evenings. Pastor Ben Wharton, Pastor David Baughan and myself were the preachers. Personally I always feel like the mule in the Kentucky derby when preaching with the likes of Baughan and Wharton. God blessed and lives were changed, the church helped, pastors uplifted and the Devil slapped around considerably.  God visited on several occasions with his dear presence easily felt.  Thank you pastor and Mrs. Nunnally, your staff and dear folks on the pew for the wonderful treatment.  The food at noon and then in the evenings was second to none.  We will all have to go on diets now.  Bless you, I think.  Smile.  -CC

Trinity (Trinity Baptist Church) is pastored by Dr. Bob Winstead and is located in Wilson, NC.  The crowd was a little down this year from last but nevertheless we had a wonderful time with lot's of giveaway's and good things for the young boys and some for the men as well.  Five dear souls were saved and a wonderful time had by all.  This supper is not very old but with a little tweaking will take off in a year or so.  -CC

Sweet Springs is pastored by Pastor Joel Logan, a wonderful young pastor with a vision for God. There were fourteen souls saved last evening at the supper. What a wonderful time we had, the food was excellent, fresh boiled shrimp, quail, turkey (both cooked on the spot), venison, all kinds of stews, chicken and veggies. God was good in so many ways as friends brought unsaved friends and God saved them. We will do it again next year if the Lord tarries!

Sunday morning (Feb 6) two more dear souls received the Lord this morning; one thirty-five year old man and one fifteen year girl. Tremendous altar call!  -CC

Completed the back to school revival at Pensacola Christian College and what a great meeting we had.  As usual the students are wonderful and such a blessing to be around and preach for. I am not certain as to the number saved (I Personally led a precious young girl whose name was Becky to  the Lord on Friday after chapel) but I do know that there were a good number of young people making decisions either on the altar or going to prayer rooms to pray about needs. Pastor Schettler and I visited a family in hopes of leading the man to the Lord. He is open but will need further help and prayer.  Thank God for the faculty and staff of this institution and vision of the Horton's thirty years ago to start a Christian school and church in Pensacola.  I preached to almost forty-seven hundred students each day and evening and perhaps another thousand from the community on Wednesday who were members of the campus church.  I Spoke in the seminary on Wednesday (the subject: 'to many castaway's') and was well received."  -CC

Friday night at the Faith Baptist Church in Waverly, Va. where Pastor Lewis Lawson pastors the Lord saved thirty (30) men and boys at the annual wild game supper. This was our seventeenth supper together. Can anyone deny that the Lord was there and blessing the meeting!

Saturday night I preached the annual wild game supper for Pastor Mike Edwards who pastors the Heritage Baptist Church of Woodbridge, Va. Twenty-four men and boys were saved at this meeting. This was our fourth supper together. Again we were all overwhelmed with the Lord's goodness. One man indicated that he was going though a divorce and that he had gotten saved tonight, he had an eleven you old son with him who when asked indicated that he too had received the Lord. How very good our God is!

God certainly blessed in these two meetings with fifty-four dear souls being saved. I know that many of you pray for this ministry - please continue and accept my sincere "thank you" for those prayers.  -CC

A twenty year old man was saved tonight who had been sweet on one the saved girls in the church.  Her mother and father were beside themselves with joy.  The altar was completely full with Pastor Adams stating that "he had never, in all his ministry at temple, seen such a response." the Lord surely met with us this night. We certainly give Him all the glory for his work among his people.  -CC

Yesterday I forwarded a note about the meetings here in Manchester, TN.  The man with the "mad dog" shirt came up to me last night during the handshake time and said..... "my heart is full of joy" and his wife was with him and they were both rejoicing.  This morning my phone rang, one of the father's that had been there for the morning service had attended soccer tournaments Sunday afternoon and had decided not to come to the service.   The Holy Spirit (he said) reminded him of the morning message and his responsibility to set a right example before his children........well he came!   Last night after they all got home his thirteen year old daughter came into the living room weeping and informed them both that she had gotten saved on the altar for she had not been certain of her salvation for several years.  It pays to obey God! He is so good!  -CC

I am at the Temple Baptist Church where Pastor Bill Adams is the pastor and has been for almost twenty years. This is my second meeting with these dear folks and this good church.

Two were saved this morning.  One man (tough looking character with "mad dog" on his shirt) was wonderfully saved and the other a teenager that the youth group had been praying for.  Invitation was responded to by scores of folks.  Doyle Robertson and his family provided the music today and will continue for the remainder of the meeting.  They certainly are a talented family with a right position on Godly music.  Pastor Adams was sick with a virus and had to miss the service.  We missed him greatly and pray the Lord raises him quickly.

A thirteen year old girl was also saved this (Sunday) evening on the altar. So three dear souls came to Christ on the Lord's day."   -CC
